Writer, Director, and Activist

Through writing and directing I aspire to create change and share stories from a new perspective in Hollywood. To put it bluntly: I am deaf, disabled, and a tenaciously passionate filmmaker. With my work, I try to constantly challenge people’s perceptions and share untold profoundly moving narratives. While I am most known for my ASL, disability education, and accessibility awareness spread on social media, my goals span larger. I have many projects in the works and I truly hope I can inspire you.

"Anyone can be left out of history. I am compelled to reveal and celebrate marginalized peoples whose stories have not been told. A multi-level cinema that engages them viscerally and intellectually activates my audiences."

"My philosophy is that to be a director you cannot be subject to anyone, even the head of the studio. I threatened to quit each time I didn't get my way, but no one ever let me walk out."
